BIG NEWS!!

 Alright Well I guess its out and official!!! 

 

We are moving to Texas!! Crazy crazy. Who would have thought that we would leave Utah? Certainly not I! No worries though we will be back in September. I am extremely nervous but mostly super excited to see what the future brings!! We will be traveling within 3 different cities! Odessa, Lubbock, and San Angelo!!  I am going to try to keep the updated!!

The House Is FINALLY coming along!

counter tops = 90% finished ( cant wait to start cooking)
back splash = 85% finished (looking amazing I want a full wall of it)
cabinets = 90% finished ( perfect color although I would have loved to try an orange color)Walls re textured= 100%
paint on walls= 100% (love it)
baseboards = 10% (i try to get Justin moving but he pretty much just laughs at me)
tile on the floor = 40% ( still have to get used to it but everyone seems to like it)



       It is getting really exciting to see how everything is coming together. I am so happy with our kitchen! we finally picked out a microwave (after 3 months of not having one) and installed it.  The sink and faucet are installed but Justin hasn't hooked up the hot water yet (now I don't have to do the dishes in the bathtub :D) But all in all its looking better then I could have pictured!!!
      I am just hoping to have it done before Dec 1 (Justin Promised) for bookclub at my house!!

The House

So we have  textured the house and painted. We went with colors that were a little out of our comfort zone and absolutely love them! We did an elephant gray with a roasted nutmeg accent wall! then our ceiling is white along with our trim and baseboard.

Justin put in new lighting (which looks awesome). We put in cans in the front room and kitchen. I found some pendant lights that I am absolutely in love with! They are different then anything else that I have seen (I will be posting pics soon) We are still trying to pick out the chandelier which has taken longer then I would have hoped for.  

We are doing the back splash this weekend! (so excited).  We are doing a slate back splash! I is going to look so great! (glad I married a handy man) The cabinets are white right now and I haven't decided what color I want to do those yet. I am deciding between 2 colors. I guess You will find out what color when I post pictures.

As for our Floors. Justin and his friend are going to stain the concrete. We torn out the laminate flooring that was already installed when we moved in but we just really didn't like it. When we tore it out there was mold! Every time I moped water sunk through and just sat there.. Gross (and really fun to clean)

Well I have to get back to the house, but I will keep on updating!!
